** USB-EDID-PRO is discontinued and the USB-EDID-PRO2 is recommended as a substitution for the USB-EDID-PRO. **
The USB-EDID-PRO can be used to read the EDID from any VGA, DVI or HDMI monitor, or sink device. It can also program a new EDID back into the device (if target is write enabled). . Connect to the USB port of any PC and plug your LCDs cable to the VGA connector on the unit, or use the supplied HDMI cable to go to an HDMI TV, or use the DVI adapter for DVI LCD's. You can also use it to program EDID into Hall Technologies VGA EDID Emulator (EM-EDID-HD15) or other EDID enabled products. No power supply is needed.
Using free Hall Technologies Windows software, you will be able to read and save EDID data from any display. Edit the EDIDs using 3rd party free software available in the Additional Downloads.

You can also use it to program EDID into Hall Technologies VGA EDID Emulator (EM-EDID-HD15) or other compatible Hall Technologies devices for example, the UV-1 MiniCat®.
